Make a monetary donation

If you are interested in making a monetary donation, you can do so online through the Annual Giving site. Choose "The W Food Pantry" from the dropdown menu and type "The W Food Pantry" in the notes. Just a $10 donation can purchase $100 worth of food from Gleaners Food Bank. 

Host a food drive

If you are interested in hosting a food drive please fill out the Food Drive Intent Form and The W's Food Drive Coordinator will respond within 48 business hours.

Non-perishable food, toiletries and clothing

Items can be dropped off at:

  • The W Food Pantry & Wardrobe during business hours
  • The Dean of Students Office during business hours
    Fall and winter semesters: Mon.-Thurs. 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fri. 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Spring and summer semesters: Mon.-Fri. 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Whole fresh produce without significant decay Foods that have been served or put on a buffet table
Baked goods (day-old bread, bagels, and other bakery items) Foods that have been previously reheated
Unopened canned and packaged goods in original packaging Foods that have been kept in the danger temperature zone for more than 2 hours
Unexpired food Foods with damaged or compromised packaging, resulting in the loss of a sanitary barrier protection
Dress clothes (suits, shirts, blouses, skirts, etc.) Any food containing alcohol
Casual clothes (t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, pants, shorts, etc.) Produce with significant decay
Accessories (belts, ties, bags, purses, etc.) Frozen foods
Shoes Sushi or any seafood intended for raw consumption
NEW hats, socks and undergarments (must have tags or be in packaging) Open, punctured, bulging, or seriously damaged canned goods
Outerwear (coats, jackets, etc.) Home canned or home jarred products
  Bathing suits
  Pajamas/nightgowns
  Used hats, socks, undergarments
  Children's clothing
  Jewelry

Kitchen items

The W is collecting gently used kitchen items (e.g. dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc.).  These items can be dropped off at the Dean of Students Office in Room 301 Student Center, or you can complete this form and you will be contacted to make arrangements for pick-up from your campus location.
